We’re two Halloweens past Top Gun: Maverick, but no one will fault you for whipping them on next year (assuming you can see at night). For Cyber Monday, Amazon’s got dozens of Ray-Bans for as little as 30% off and ranging past 50%, so there’s a style for everyone. Maverick Cruise, Risky Business Cruise, Tropic Thunder Cruise. As a bare minimum, they all offer UV protection, while some pairs are polarized (glare-protected), too. Both polarized and non-polarized lenses offer protection from the sun and preserve eye health, though.
We think everyone looks good in the aviators, which offer a classic army green tint and a modern curve to the frame. Reviewers across the internet say they’re much sturdier than their dollar store knock-off counterparts, but that the fibers are pleasantly flexible. We also like the Clubmaster Squares, which add a great ’50s pop to any outfit, the Havana/Rose colorway making things especially west coast.
