Cute Corgi Doesn't Want to Get into His Crate and Plans an Escape

It's no secret that dogs have a love/hate relationship with their crates. Sometimes they want to get in it and be left alone, but it's never when you want them to get in!

@Hammy & Olivia are two cute corgis whose human dad creates funny parodies and scenarios with. They also do a lot of talking (read: barking). In this video, dad has to go and tells Hammy to get in his crate, but he ain't havin' it!

I have to point out the cute caption that reads, "Prison life is ruff"! Very cute play on words! Hammy was jealous that Olivia gets to stay out on the bed and decides he's not going into the jail crate. He goes on the lam and it's too funny!

Commenters got a kick out of the video, and most commented on how cute little Hammy looked running around on those short legs. There's no denying that he's a cutie!

Should dogs have a crate of their own? Depends on who you ask. But if you think about it from the dog's perspective a crate is like their own little den. The crate becomes their safe place, and somewhere they can go to get away from it all, which is especially important in a busy environment or a house with kids. The key to successful crate training is patience and repetition. Before you know it, you'll be able to leave the door open and the dog will go in and out without you even asking him to!
