The Cut, Size & More Details About Kelsey’s ‘Bachelor’ Engagement Ring from Joey

Last night, Joey Graziadei’s journey to find love came to an end on The Bachelor when the 28-year-old proposed to Kelsey Anderson after sending home Daisy Kent. To no surprise, the Bachelor popped the question with a stunning engagement ring, courtesy of Neil Lane.

But what does it look like? And how big is it? Keep scrolling for details on the engagement ring.

1. What Does It Look Like?

According to People magazine, Joey opted for an Art Deco ring. The center stone is an emerald-cut diamond, and it’s surrounded by two shield-shaped gems. The stones are set on a platinum band that’s adorned with 18 smaller diamonds. Neil Lane told the mag that the shield-shaped diamonds represent protection.

If you combine the main three stones, along with the smaller ones on the band, the ring totals around four carats. (Just let that sink in.)

3. Why Did He Choose It?

Joey told People about the ring selection process, which revolved around Kelsey’s preferences.

“She’s explained that because she thinks that she has longer fingers, which I think are beautiful, she likes the more elongated cut, because she thinks it looks more feminine on her hand,” he said. “I think she could wear anything on her hand, and it would look beautiful.”

Kelsey admitted that the ring is exactly what she pictured. “I saw the ring, I was like, ‘Yeah, it was always going to be me,’” she added. “I think it's stunning, and I never want to take it off again.”

Lane also explained that Joey wanted something that felt special. “He shared that the jewelry she wears daily all had sentimental value, including a piece from her late mother, so he did not take choosing a ring lightly," the jeweler told the mag. “He also divulged that he’d been in love with Kelsey for some time.”
