Curious about magic? These 6 Louisville-area shops can help you tap into the spirit world
Magic is often practiced in private, but Kentucky and Southern Indiana are home to several metaphysical shops that serve as gathering points for the magically inclined.
This winter we published a piece on Raven's Roost Boutique in New Albany, which is home to the monthly Witches Market on the third Saturday of each month. Since the event launched late last year, it has welcomed dozens of vendors and hundreds of guests both experienced in and curious about Wicca and pagan practices. The number of Americans who identify with Wicca or paganism has risen from 134,000 in 2001 to nearly 2 million, USA TODAY reported in 2021.
With the success of the Witches Market in mind, we rounded up a few other local businesses that embrace the metaphysical arts.
