Curb Your Enthusiasm will return for a twelfth season, Larry David confirmed during a TV Academy event at the DGA on Sunday evening.

The Emmys event, which was presented by HBO, featured a screening of Season 11, episode four, “The Watermelon," along with a panel discussion with David, executive producer Jeff Schaffer, Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, J.B. Smoove, Cheryl Hines and Richard Lewis, hosted by Rich Eisen.

Following the event, Eisen took to Twitter to share the news, writing, “So, I was honored to emcee an [Emmys] panel for ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ tonight here in LA with most of the cast and asked Larry David the ultimate question: Will there be another season of Curb? He said yes.”

The news arrives after season 11 concluded in December of last year. Curb Your Enthusiasm largely follows David's lead, as HBO and HBO Max Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys explained in an interview with Deadline earlier this year: “As usual, if [Larry] has an area that he is excited about, we’ll do more. I imagine he will."

Presently, there are no additional details available regarding season 12.

Elsewhere in entertainment, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will appear in the final season of Better Call Saul.
