Emma Corrin's next leading role is nearly here: The actor will star in the Hulu murder mystery show A Murder at the End of the World, co-created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij.

"Brit and Zal are almost from a different dimension, the way their brains work," Corrin said. "They’re so ahead of their time, the stories that they come up with. And it was an amazing shoot. We went from Iceland to a studio in New Jersey, and then to Utah. Brit is really special, and she’s in the series as well, so it was fun to act with her and be directed by her."

Here's everything we know about the upcoming series.

It's a new spin on the murder mystery.

Previously titled The Retreat, Hulu describes A Murder at the End of the World as the following: It's "a mystery series with a new kind of detective at the helm — a Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker named Darby Hart (Emma Corrin). Darby and eight other guests are invited by a reclusive billionaire (Clive Owen) to participate in a retreat at a remote and dazzling location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must use all of her skills to prove it was murder against a tide of competing interests and before the killer takes another life."

Emma Corrin leads the cast.

The cast is an all-star line-up.

  • Emma Corrin as Darby Hart, an amateur sleuth.

  • Clive Owen as Andy, a reclusive billionaire

  • Harris Dickinson as Bill

  • Brit Marling as Lee

  • Alice Braga as Sian

  • Joan Chen as Lu Mei

  • Raúl Esparza as David

  • Jermaine Fowler as Martin

  • Ryan J. Haddad as Oliver

  • Pegah Ferydoni as Ziba

  • Javed Khan as Rohan

  • Edoardo Ballerini as Ray

Louis Cancelmi, Kellan Tetlow, and Neal Huff will also be in the ensemble cast, in unspecified roles.

It wil premiere in November.

There will be seven episodes in the limited series. It was originally supposed to premiere in August 2023, but now it will premiere in November, perhaps due to the ongoing dual strike in Hollywood. No specific date has been set yet, but we'll update this as soon as we learn more.
