Crown Princess Mary Returns to Royal Duties and Steals the Show with Her Floral Fascinator

The British royals aren't the only ones who know how to rock a statement-making fascinator. After a summer off from her royal duties, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark appeared alongside her husband, Crown Prince Frederik (55), at the 250th anniversary of the city of Christiansfeld. While there, the 51-year-old royal caught everyone's eye with her large floral fascinator (and if Georgia O’Keefe were still around, we're sure she'd be whipping out her paintbrushes at the sight of this accessory).

According to the Royal Fashion Police Instagram account, the crown princess was sporting a rewear—the Armonia Silk-Georgette dress from Raquel Diniz in red, which she paired with Asia 70 tan leather sandals from Gianvito Rossi (a favorite shoewear brand amongst the royals).

But we know what you really came here for—that headwear. So, where did she get it? Well, the piece is a Roses Vertical Saucer hat from Jane Taylor London (which you won't be able to find online, but you can grab this very similar design from the same brand for $1,069).

The Crown Princess of Denmark has worn this headpiece on a few notable occasions, including the wedding of Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco back in 2011. She also wore the same fascinator to the Royal Ascot back in 2016, as seen below.

As we well know, fascinators are a common staple amongst royals, and just this past May, Princess Eugenie pulled one out for King Charles III's coronation.

This coming October, Crown Princess Mary's eldest son, Prince Christian of Denmark, will be celebrating his eighteenth birthday. Let's hope his mom chooses more eye-popping headwear for the occasion.
