The Crown ’s Emma Corrin Looks Exactly Like Princess Diana in New Season-Four Photo

It’s hard to do justice to Princess Diana’s legendary sense of style, but The Crown star Emma Corrin makes it look effortless.

The 23-year-old actor was photographed on the set of The Crown in Málaga, Spain, where season four of the show is being filmed. Málaga is standing in for Australia, where the Princess of Wales famously toured and met with locals in 1983. Flanked by actor Josh O’Connor, who looks eerily like Prince Charles, Corrin was seen in what looks like an exact replica of the hot pink, fitted, polka-dot dress and matching fascinator that Diana wore on her trip to Australia.

Diana’s style has been imitated and memorialized countless times and inspires fervor to this day—an old workout sweatshirt of hers sold at auction for $50,000 in July. One of the most exciting parts of The Crown’s fourth season will be keeping track of which looks the show will recreate. Will Diana’s postdivorce revenge dress eventually make an appearance?

The real Diana and Charles brought their son Prince William, who was then nine months old, along on their Australian visit, but Corrin and O’Connor didn’t appear to be accompanied by a baby in the scene (although maybe he’ll appear later on).

If you’re impatient to see this and other interpretations of what Diana wore in The Crown, you may find it hard to wait until the premiere of season four—season three hasn’t even come out yet. But fans do have Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II to look forward to when the third season hits Netflix on November 17.
