Heads up, Criminal Minds fans. One of Joe Mantegna's social media accounts is going through a bit of a situation, and he's now alerting fans to exactly what happened.

In a recent post uploaded on X (formerly known as Twitter), the CBS actor left his followers concerned when he revealed his official Facebook page got hacked. As Joe shared, the person controlling the page continues to post messages that seemingly look like they're from him.

"My public Facebook page was hacked a couple of months ago, and we are working to regain control of it," he wrote on January 10. "Nothing posted on it is by me or my representative's. I suggest you unfollow that page until further notice."

When fans noticed that the Tony Award winner's social account had been hacked online, they immediately ran to send words of support while he deals with the frustrating scenario.

"Hope it gets resolved soon Joe <3," one person wrote on X. "I'm sorry to hear that.. we need Penelope Garcia stat @Vangsness <3," another replied, referencing his co-star Kirsten Vangsness'role in the Criminal Minds franchise as BAU technical analyst Penelope Garcia. "Scammers here, on Instagram, everywhere. So annoying. Thank you for letting us [know]," a different follower added.

While thankfully, Joe is on top of what's happening with the status of his social media accounts, the news of the hacking comes just days before he gears up to return to set for Criminal Minds: Evolution season 2. And if that's not enough, he's not the only Criminal Minds cast member who's gone through a scenario like this.

Back in September 2023, Joe's co-star Paget Brewster alerted fans that she too went through a social media hack. She shared that no one should trust the tweets coming from her account until she had everything resolved. Luckily, things have seemingly calmed down, as she's back to interacting with her followers and showing private moments from her life away from working on Criminal Minds.
