'Criminal Minds' Fans Can't Believe How A.J. Cook and Paget Brewster Lost It in Viral Blooper

Paget Brewster and A.J. Cook play serious roles as SSA J.J. Jareau and BAU unit chief Emily Prentiss on Criminal Minds: Evolution. Still, despite starring on a show about profound topics, there have been times that they couldn't help but break character to provide a bit of levity.

In a viral video uploaded on May 27, Twitter user @mariahniccole shared a rare blooper of the actresses filming a season 3 episode of Criminal Minds. The clip showed Paget and A.J. talking to the parents of a female victim, saying they were prepared to assist them with finding their daughter. But during the exchange, A.J. joked they couldn't help "run" them through the process when the guest stars pretended to act rudely toward her. This led to Paget laughing out loud, with the director yelled "cut" in the background.

"I think this may be my favorite criminal minds blooper in existence," read the caption. "Thank you @ajcookofficial and @pagetpaget."

Because Paget enjoys talking to her fans on Twitter, it didn't take long before the How I Met Your Father actress cracked up over the unearthed blooper online. "Oh s---!!" she replied a short while later. "This is so funny!! Thank you again, Mariah!!"

Given how folks enjoy seeing Paget and A.J. onscreen together, coming across a hilarious moment of the duo from the early years of the drama had them laughing in the comments.

"Criminal Minds bloopers are the best bloopers but also anything y’all do is the best," one person wrote on Twitter. "AHHHHH I love you both!!! ❤️❤️❤️," a different follower reacted. "Fav duo forever," another agreed.

While the blooper was likely filmed in 2007, fans can look forward to watching Paget and A.J. back on the small screen for Criminal Minds: Evolution season 2 in the near future. Although it will probably be some time before folks get a glimpse at how the BAU (and subsequently, their characters) react to the last few moments of season 1, we can't wait to see what else these two have up their sleeves.
