‘Criminal Minds’ Fans Applaud Paget Brewster as She Posts Honest Thoughts on Aging

With over three decades working in the entertainment industry, Paget Brewster knows a thing or two about the scrutiny celebrities can come under as they age. Well, she's not letting any of that affect her (professionally or personally), and she said as much in an emotional note she dropped for her followers on social media.

The Criminal Minds: Evolution star rang in her 55th birthday on March 10, and to celebrate, she shared a selfie from what appeared to be the set of the show's upcoming season 2. While the photo was definitely a silly moment, Paget paired the image with a heartfelt message about embracing her own beauty and success at this stage in her life.

"Thank you for your birthday wishes, I’m 55!" she wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter) on March 10. "So much older than most of you but it really does get better. Besides you guys, I don’t care what people think of me. I’m hot. I work hard. My husband, friends and family love me as much as I love them. Every day is my birthday now. ❤️."

When fans saw Paget get vulnerable about her feelings on aging online, they swarmed her with words of encouragement in the comments.

"I know you don't care what people think of you (and you're absolutely right), but I completely agree with what you said and then some. You're the best! ❤️ Congratulations 🥳," one person wrote on X. "Every day is your day, exactly!!! Love [you] ❤️❤️," another declared. "You are so loved and we love you just the way you are!" a different follower added.

Although it seems like Paget is using her birthday as a reason to reflect on life, this isn't the only time she spoke out about aging in Hollywood. Back in January 2023, she mentioned how she isn't into the idea of surgically enhancing herself in order to give the appearance of being younger.

"It’s hard getting older and not doing injections or surgery but I choose that," she wrote in part on X at the time. "I’m older. I’m still hard working, inquisitive and hot. Very hot."
