They say all good things must come to an end, but Criminal Minds fans are still devastated at the most recent news surrounding the show. The CBS procedural, which follows a group of criminal profilers who work for the FBI in the Behavioral Analysis Unit, announced it is ending after season 15.

The show's official Twitter account revealed the information last night. "Hey, #CriminalMinds fans-we've got big news," the tweet reads. "First, mark your calendar for the Season 14 finale, Feb 6 at 10/9c. Next, get ready for a momentous ride: Season 15 will be our epic final season."

The statement, of course, has received countless replies from disappointed fans. "FINAL SEASON IM SOBBING MY EYES OUT😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭," someone wrote. "I DONT APPROVE OF 15 BEING THE LAST SEASON," another person noted. "IM AN EMOTIONAL WRECK WHYD U DO THIS TO US," someone else tweeted. "I’m not ready for it to be over 😭😭😭," someone added.

Although season 15, which will begin with a two-part opener, will be shortened to just 10 episodes, it sounds like the producers will make it a must-watch. The program's showrunner, Erica Messer spoke to Deadline about what the last installment will entail. She mentioned a possibility of bringing back some fan favorites to say goodbye, including Mandy Patinkin, Thomas Gibson, and Shemar Moore, but there's nothing set in stone-yet.

"I am very hopeful that we can honor all of those characters who have been beloved and with this team, with the audience for years, but I don’t know what that’s going to look like; I don’t know the logistics of anything or the story," she said.

There's no official premiere date yet, but the final season will air from 2019 to 2020.
