If you've spent more than a minute on Pinterest, you know that people are very ready for Halloween. Cute is out, creepy in. Say goodbye to bright, summery recipes like Caprese Corn Salad and Zucchini Sushi, and get ready for Strawberry Ghosts and Poison Apples. Some recipes go way too far - like people are making cookies look like bloody Band-Aids, (I told you things were gettin' WEIRD.) Others are just gross enough, like Dracula Dentures (inspired by Pinterest ... obviously.)

They look kinda repulsive but they're not so disgusting that you actually can't eat them. The teeth look crazy good, but they're clearly marshmallows. It's also pretty obvious that there are chocolate chip cookies involved. The bright red blood? Vanilla frosting, folks. People get over the fear factor pretty quickly once they realize all this. You're already craving one, right?

Making the cookie mouths isn't scary. Just bake a batch of chocolate chip cookies (pre-made dough is just as fun) and cut each cookie in half. Spread red icing onto both halves, arrange marshmallows on one side, top with the other half, then stick the almond "fangs" on both sides. The whole process takes less than an hour so, really, there's no excuse for you not to make them for your Halloween party.
