Courteney Cox's Daughter Coco Is Already a Teenage

Courteney Cox and her daughter Coco Arquette, recently sat down with PEOPLE magazine to do their first joint interview as part of the publication's "Beautiful Issue."

The 53-year-old actress and her 13-year-old got candid about what it's like navigating celebrity life and being a teenager. “I want her to tell me everything, and she doesn’t want to tell me anything,” Cox said. Coco went on to say that although she and her mom do fight, the two are "very close."

They also discussed whether or not Coco will following in her famous mom's footsteps.

“My daughter is an incredible singer,” said Cox. “She does plays. No, I’m not being a stage mom. Well, I mean - ”

“At times,” Coco said, cutting her off.

“I’m sitting there watching you be incredible, I just send you off to the plays to be incredible,” Cox said. “She is really good. I want her to have a hobby, to make her play the piano...And she’s got this instrument in her voice that I want to be backed up with either guitar, piano, I don’t care, but she has to have an activity. That I’m strict about.”

Coco also spends time with her dad, David Arquette, who was married to Cox from 1999 until 2013. Cox says that the two parents try to keep things harmonious for Coco's sake.
