With Easter weekend in full swing, its classic festivities—from egg decorating and egg hunts to, well, ending up in a chocolate and sweets coma—are well underway, too. The Christian holiday is a time for the ultra-festive to shine, where sugary pastels and whimsical fascinators are begging to be worn. Actress Nicole Kidman certainly get that memo this weekend, where she took to Instagram to share her thematic Easter ensemble—and boy, it didn’t disappoint.
For the holiday, the actress wore a pink feathered headpiece by Valentino from the Italian label’s Spring 2018 couture show (look 25, to be precise). “Sending love in my Easter bonnet,” she wrote. (If you’re going to attempt a bonnet, a Valentino one is the right way to go.) She wore the dramatic piece with a black sweater, allowing it to shine in all of its glory. Though it’s unclear if she wore the headpiece out for the day’s happenings or was simply playing dress up, the over-the-top choice couldn’t be more on point. Couture and chocolate—is there a better duo?
