Couples Are Really Getting Married at the Las Vegas Taco Bell So It’s Expanding

Is there ever such a thing as too many tacos? On Monday, Taco Bell assured its fans that there is indeed not, announcing its decision to expand on the Las Vegas Cantina that they offered up as a wedding venue exactly one year ago.

Due to popular demand—the hot (sauce) spot has already played host to 60 chic weddings since the Cantina first opened its doors to wedding bells—Taco Bell is opting to expand its Party Room so that twice as many guests can now take part in their loved ones’ big day. Previously, brides and grooms-to-be could only host up to 15 guests for their nuptials (with a wedding package that included 12 tacos); the newly renovated space will provide room enough for double that.

In addition to the bigger space, Taco Bell has also concocted a collection of taco-inspired accessories perfect for the big day, and ideal for helping newlyweds to pledge their commitment not just to each other, but to cheesy, crunchy foods—for life.

Available accessories include matching Mr. and Mrs. T-shirts with the Taco Bell emblem included on the front and “Just Married” on the back; a sauce packet-patterned bow tie and garter; and a set of champagne flutes with the Taco Bell logo emblazoned on the side.

“The desire we have witnessed this year for Taco Bell weddings has exceeded our expectations,” Taco Bell’s chief brand officer Marisa Thalberg said in the release. “In just one year, we have had over 60 couples, averaging more than one per week, tie the knot with us at ou Las Vegas Cantina.”

Last June, the Las Vegas Cantina hosted its first-ever wedding with a $600 wedding packet (which they got for free!) that included everything from a sauce packet bouquet to a Cinnabon cake.

“I just got married at the Taco Bell Cantina in Las Vegas,” groom Dan Ryckert said on Taco Bell’s Snapchat at the time. “It was amazing. I am full but there’s more Cinnabon Delights cakes to eat so I gotta get busy with that.”

Taco Bell is already anticipating 25 weddings at its Cantina this wedding season, according to a statement. Cheers to many more!
