New Couple Zooey Deschanel & Jonathan Scott Made a Rare Appearance at ‘DWTS’
Love was in the air during last night’s episode of Dancing With the Stars. (And no, we’re not talking about former Bachelorette Hannah Brown.)
Zooey Deschanel attended yesterday’s taping of the dancing competition series alongside her new rumored boyfriend, Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott. This is the first semi-public outing for the couple, who have remained tight-lipped about their relationship ever since rumors started circulating.
We first learned about a potential romance last month when Hollywood Life obtained exclusive photos of Scott and Deschanel holding hands in Los Angeles. The pair met while they were filming an episode of Apple TV’s Carpool Karaoke, which also featured their siblings, Emily Deschanel and Drew Scott.
“They started out as friends,” a source told the outlet. “They’ve been out a few times and seem to want to keep the romance on the quieter side.”
Deschanel has been married twice before: Ben Gibbard from 2009 to 2012 and Jacob Pechenik from 2015 to 2019. The New Girl star shares two children—Elise (4) and Charlie (2)—with Pechenik, who confirmed their split last month.
Scott was previously married to Kelsy Ully from 2007 to 2013. Although he dated Jacinta Kuznetsov for three years, the couple parted ways in 2018.
