Do you live in a tiny space and want to figure out ways to maximize it comfortably? This resourceful TikTok couple just took space-saving to another stratosphere with their odd kitchen space refresh so prepare to be inspired.

Never in a million years would I have thought a sliding drawer could fit where they just put it. Apparently, though, we can create  storage anywhere when IKEA has anything to do with it.

TikToker Saruul Herz and their partner took a weird, unnecessary gap between their kitchen cabinet and made it a custom spice drawer.

Dead space, where? Didn't they slay this?!

"Odd space IKEA Hack," Saruul wrote. "Leave no space unused. The best thing about an IKEA modular cabinet is that you can adjust it to any size. We took our less than 10-inch space and turned it into a spice drawer corner where all our spices can live happily ever after."

Saruul used IKEA modular cabinet pieces from the ALEX series. The storage and drawer series is designed to be classy, simple, and functional. The DIYers sliced up the drawers to fit their small dead space, inserted the appropriate hardware to keep it secure, and ta-da — an awesome drawer for organizing spices was born.
