This Couple Built a Barn for their Backyard Farmhouse Wedding!

Can't find the perfect venue? Why not build your own (in your backyard)?! That's exactly what Andrew and Lauren did with this barn and the result was a gorgeous, sunlit soiree with their nearest and dearest. With the help of Love and Honey Weddings, they pulled off an absolute dream wedding that we're all wow-ing over at our desks. I've got a feeling you'll be heart-eyed, too, when you see the full batch of images from Click Away Photography!

From Click Away Photography... Andrew and Lauren were married on September 16, 2017 on Lauren's family's property in Lincolnton, just outside of Charlotte, NC. Lauren's family worked hard on transforming their backyard into the perfect wedding venue, by landscaping and building a new barn perfect for the theme of the wedding. Now let's talk about Jennifer, Lauren't mom, and her design skills. Her home is charming and beautiful, full of natural light and stunning decor. It literally looks as if Joanna Gaines herself lived there. We felt like it was Christmas morning shooting details and getting ready photos in such a great space. I even told her mom at one point, that their home was a dream venue, even though it's not even a wedding venue! The details and decor were minimal, with neutral colors and potted centerpieces- they matched not only the style of the couple perfectly, but also their surroundings. The girls wore champaign colored gowns and the guys wore mismatched navy suits. Love and Honey Weddings did an amazing job putting together the table settings, ceremony site, and overall making sure the day ran smoothly. Both wedding parties and families were great to work with, and so much fun! There was definitely plenty of laughter and love shared throughout the day.
