Couple with 12 children uses the same 4 letters to name all of their kids

This couple from Belgium named their 11 children using the same four letters, and they plan to continue the tradition with the 12th they’re expecting.

Gwenny Blanckaert and Marino Vaneeno will soon have a dozen children, and all of them will have names using the letters A, E, L and X. The family consists of seven daughters and four sons. Meanwhile, Blanckaert and Vaneeno are expecting a son this year.

“We named our oldest son after Marino’s stepfather because we thought it was a beautiful name,” Blanckaert said, according to The Sun. “The name of our second son became Axel, and after that, we started puzzling. We realized that they were the same letters, so we decided to continue like this.”

The family includes 13-year-old Alex, 12-year-old Axel, 11-year-old Xela, 10-year-old Lexa, 9-year-old Xael, 8-year-old Xeal, 5-year-old Exla, 4-year-old Leax, 2-year-old Xale, 1-year-old Elax and 6-month-old Alxe.

The couple plans to name their 12th child using the same letters. However, they aren’t going to have any more children after he’s born.

“Right from the start, we had set the bar at 12. And we will stick to that,” Blanckaert said, according to The Sun.

When BabyNames.com shared the story on TikTok, people certainly had their opinions on the matter.

“Literally, what’s the difference between Xale, Xeal and Xael?” someone asked.

“They sound like Tesla models,” another joked.

“I honestly think this is kind of cool, and I like the idea,” another said.
