County Line Historical Society grilling up chicken June 1

On Saturday, June 1, the County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes will having its annual Wayne County Fair-Style chicken barbecue drive-thru.

Proceeds go to maintaining and operating the museum.

The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. until sold out. The menu is 1/2 chicken for $8 and 1/2 chicken dinners for $12, which include green beans and ham, apple sauce, roll and butter.

The barbecue will be located at the Shreve Auto Repair, 298 N. Market St. Enter off of Robinson Street.

Cash and checks will be accepted.
