Country Music Fans Say Darius Rucker Is Like "Fine Wine" After Seeing His Latest Instagram Video

Earlier this month, country music's biggest stars all gather for the CMT Awards. There, we saw Lainey Wilson take home a few trophies, Carrie Underwood's show-stopping outfit and Shania Twain honored with the coveted Equal Play Award.

Another big moment from the night? Darius Rucker's epic performance. Much to fans' excitement, Darius announced on March 29 that he was releasing a new song, "Fires Don't Start Themselves." And then, we were all treated to a live version during the show!

For those who missed the performance, CMT posted a clip from the night, and it absolutely took off on Instagram. And, how could it not with lyrics like this:

Fans quickly took the comments section to praise Darius's new single, voice, and overall epic career. "Love your voice so much," one person wrote. "Darius Rucker is like a fine wine ... he just keeps getting better with age," said another. "He never disappoints," someone else commented.

Darius also took to the stage that night to perform with The Black Crows. Together, they sang the group's "She Talks to Angels."

As for when we can expect more music, Darius is set to drop a new album, Carolyn’s Boy, later this year.
