What Countries Does King Charles III Reign Over?

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth, her son King Charles not only succeeded her as British monarch, but as monarch of 14 other Commonwealth realms, from Australia to Jamaica. Therefore, he became king and head of state for some 150 million people in the Commonwealth realms.

However, it is widely expected that a few of these countries could remove Charles as their head of state—Jamaica's Prime Minister Andrew Holness has said he intends for Jamaica to be fully independent, as have the leaders of Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, and other Caribbean nations. There are also growing republican (i.e., anti-monarchy) movements in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and elsewhere.

Under Queen Elizabeth's reign, 17 countries left the British monarchy—including, most recently, Barbados in 2021. Yet, as of now, none have left during King Charles's reign (yet). Here are the fifteen nations that King Charles reigns over as monarch:
