Costco's Luxe Outdoor Pizza Oven Is a Lot Cheaper on Amazon

Summer is perfect because the sunny weather means you can spend all your time outdoors, minus a few sudden showers or two. There are so many activities you can partake in again, from rooftop parties to park days with the pup to backyard entertaining. If you're all about hosting an al fresco feast, then you certainly need the proper furniture and appliances to do so. This is where Costco comes in, as it's selling a wood-burning pizza oven from famed brand Forno right now. (Who doesn't want to make personal pies with their friends??)

The only issue? At $2,500, it's not exactly cheap, but that doesn't mean we don't want it. We'll just snag a super similar one from another enormous retailer for $200 less. That's right: Amazon also sells a nearly identical Forno Venetzia (which means "Venetian oven" in Italian) masterpiece for a lot cheaper than the model at Costco. The main difference between Amazon's Forno and Costco's version? The Amazon one doesn't have doors covering the storage shelves—that's it!

Proudly made in Italy, Forno Venetzia's fully insulated, commercial-grade refractory brick hearth is designed to bake delicious, wood-fried pizzas akin to the pies you'd enjoy in its namesake Italian island. The double-layered ceramic insulation is perfect for heat-retention while the oven dome features a durable, UV-resistant powder coat finish to help prevent color fading. You can take care not to burn your pizza with the built-in oven thermometer, and for those who hate waiting: just peer through the glass oven door window to see your food cooking. Other notable features include: a pull-out side-shelf with a stainless steel handle, two cart shelves, a height adjustable tool holder, and four wheels (two swivel, two fixed), so you can move it around.

Since the pizza oven is still available to shop, we suggest adding it to your cart STAT. Once it's properly set up in your backyard, you can then focus on the fun part: loading up your dough with toppings. Peppers? Pepperoni? Pineapple, if that's your thing? The sky's the limit!
