Costco Is Selling a Street-Tacos Kit That’s Cooked and Ready to Assemble
Taco night makes getting through the day easier, but cooking and cleaning afterwards is a total drag. Costco has taken away both tasks by offering a street tacos kit that has everything you need to make dinner quick.
The Kirkland Signature taco kit comes with 12 soft corn and flour tortillas, grilled seasoned chicken, Mexican-blend cheddar cheese, fresh shredded vegetables, tomato salsa, cilantro lime crema, and lime slices. All of the ingredients are laid side by side in the container, but are still separate, so you can build your tacos exactly how you like them. All you need to do is add some chips and guacamole, and you have yourself a fiesta.
These street-taco kits began being spotted at Costco in January 2019. Fingers crossed they stick around for years to come, because we already can’t get enough of them. Each kit is $5.59 a pound, so each one comes in around $16. That’s about $1.33 a taco, which is not much more than a soft taco at Taco Bell (and this one will already be in your house, so).
The next time you’re loading up on your Costco favorites, you might want to take a stroll into the prepared foods section to find the chicken street-tacos kit. Just think about how little work you’ll have to do to get dinner on the table tonight. That thought alone has us convinced!
