It’s no secret that many of your favorite cereals from your early years like Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs, and Cap’n Crunch, pack more sugar than your average dessert. You know what they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so it’s crucial to start with a balanced meal — which is where Magic Spoon comes in. Over the past few years, cereal-lovers have been enamored by Magic Spoon, a brand of cereal that leans into the nostalgia of your favorite breakfasts from childhood, without the adulthood sugar crashes that just seem to get more intense with age.

Up until now, Magic Spoon was only available online, but now Costco is selling the breakfast cereal in warehouses in the Midwest, Northwest, Texas, and Los Angeles, according to an Instagram post by the brand.

One bowl of Magic Spoon cereal contains about 14 grams of protein per serving and zero grams of sugar, plus is gluten-free, grain-free, and keto-friendly. Not to mention, there aren’t any artificial colors or sweeteners. Right now, the brand is selling flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Frosted, Maple Waffle, Cinnamon Roll, Blueberry Muffin, and Peanut Butter. However, it looks like Costco is only selling Fruity to start, reminiscent of a bowl of Froot Loops.

A 14-ounce two-bag box is retailing at the bulk retailer for $12.49. While this is certainly on the pricier side for cereal, you are getting a complete breakfast in your bowl. Plus, one box is about $9.75 on the brand’s website, so you’ll be saving a few extra dollars if you buy from Costco.

The intention is for adults to give into their sugar cravings in a balanced way, but children will certainly enjoy a bowl, too. They’ll get the cereals they love, but with all the nutrients that make a more balanced breakfast.

Hopefully, Costco will expand their sales to other parts of the country, but for now, if you live in the regions mentioned above, it’s never been easier to try a box for yourself.
