St. Patrick's Day is a little over two weeks away, but it's not too soon to start celebrating. One of my favorite things to indulge in on this special day is Irish cream liqueur. It goes perfectly in either a fresh cup of coffee or Lucky Charms shots.

The brand most widely associated with Irish cream is Baileys, but I'm always looking for a good deal. So my interest piked when I discovered that Costco has its own Irish cream, and the price point is actually unbeatable.

Kirkland Signature Irish Country Cream was spotted back on store shelves by Instagrammer @CostcoBuys. They described it as containing "a creamy blend of chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut flavors." And, of course, there's real Irish whiskey.

They also left a controversial message: "I like it better than the name brand for sure." And it turns out they're not alone.

Ted commented, "As good if not better than brand name and much better deal."

"We always have this in the house for Sunday morning coffees," Michaeleen added.

Purists, however, were quick to point out one major difference in the comments. Costco's store brand has 13.9% alcohol content by volume. Baileys, on the other hand, has 17%. That being said, a 1.5 liter bottle of Kirkland Signature Irish Country costs $9.79, while a 750 ml bottle of Baileys goes for north of $20.

Now that I've armed you with the information, I'll leave it up to you as to prioritize alcohol content or price.
