Costco’s Newest Party-Ready Item Will Have You and Your Guests 'Snacking for Days'

We love a good meat and cheese platter any day of the week. Whether we’re entertaining friends and need the perfect pairing to go with our wine, or we’re looking for something to snack on while making dinner, a party platter always gets the job done right. And while we love building our own charcuterie boards, we’ll never turn down a little help when it comes to entertaining.

Costco has a new cheese, meat, and fruit platter that offers just that. Thanks to its gigantic size, it’s the perfect platter to have on hand for just about any get-together.

Costco’s New Meat, Cheese, and Fruit Platter

Just in time for New Year's Eve parties, Costco recently released a massive cheese, meat, and fruit platter. Instagram user Costco Hot Finds posted about the latest party platter saying it's "huge," revealing its vast size of 6.9 pounds.

The platter features cube-sized Gouda and Cheddar cheeses, salami, and soppressata, along with bunches of red and green grapes. It’s presented on a large plastic tray with a removable lid for easy transfer, making it perfect if you’re bringing this to someone else’s place for a party.

You can grab this platter now at your local Costco for $13.49 per pound. The platter featured in the video that weighed almost a whopping 7 pounds came to just under $40 which is reasonable considering its size. This is definitely the platter you’ll want when entertaining a group, although as one commenter suggests in the post, you could be “snacking for days” if you were to enjoy this one solo.

Others commented, “That’s a great deal,” and, “I saw these platters today and they’re huge and gorgeous. All you need to take to a holiday gathering.” New Year’s Eve snacking anyone?

Some weren’t completely convinced about the price. “That’s expensive for what you’re getting,” commented one person. But we think if you’re looking for a quick grab-and-go appetizer that limits the fuss, is easily transported to where you need to go, and will offer good snacking for a big crowd, it’s not a bad price. Especially when all you need to do is add some crackers, jam, and honey for a solid charcuterie board made easy.
