All the New Costco Locations Opening in 2023 (So Far)

With any luck, there will be a new store near you soon.

There’s no place to shop that’s quite like Costco. Where else can you pick up a multi-pack of mayonnaise, a new television, and a year’s supply of allergy medication quite as quickly and conveniently?

Buying in bulk is a great way to save money, and it’s more convenient than taking frequent trips to your local grocery store. After all, everyone needs more toilet paper (and snacks) eventually anyway. Best of all, the store’s private label—Kirkland Signature—is known for its quality products, which is an even better way to save. So why not stock up?

There are plenty of other advantages to shopping at Costco. Membership has its benefits, including discounts on lots of other products and services—from new cars to clothing. Some locations even have opticians on site, so you can get your eyes checked and save on a new pair of glasses at the same time. 

Sick of high prices at the pump? You can save with Costco because many stores have their own gas stations onsite. Or, if your tires have seen better days, select locations sell and service tires for less than your local mechanic charges.

But what should you do if there isn’t a Costco near where you live? There might be one opening up soon. Here’s a list of 2023 new store openings, so far. Are you still far from Costco? Come back every now and then to check for additional announcements. Until then, use the store finder to see if there’s a warehouse that’s not too far away from you. No matter what, you won’t regret making the trip.

New Costco Locations in 2023

Queen Creek, Arizona

If you live in Arizona, you probably already shop at Costco, as the state is home to more than 20 locations. Still, this new outpost in Queen Creek will likely be extra convenient for those in the neighborhood. 

Kyle, Texas

They say everything is bigger in Texas, and Costco’s presence in this state is about to increase. With more than 30 outposts in the Lone Star State, Kyle residents should be excited about a new store to stock up on everything from electronics to pajama pants.

Longmont, Colorado

Life just got a little more exciting for residents of the Denver suburb of Longmont. While Colorado already has more than ten Costco locations, it’s now easier for some residents to stock up on extra hot chocolate—perfect for warming up after a long day on the slopes.
