Costco Just Dropped a New Pre-Made Meal Kit That's Perfect for Busy Families & It's Getting Rave Reviews

Whether your kids have tests or baseball practice or dance recitals or something else going on right now, chances are, your family is feeling the end-of-school stress. Sometimes, it feels like all I do is drive to drop off my kids and pick them up — plus run errands for their last-minute projects or stay up late to ensure they have the right clothes clean for whatever they’re doing the next day. Dinner is the last thing on my mind! So, when I spotted Costco’s new pre-made meal kit, it felt like it was made for me. It’s a super easy and affordable kit that includes everything you need for a delicious meal, so busy families can get a break from takeout or late-night cereal dinners.

Instagram user @costcohotfinds, run by Laura Jayne Lamb, shared a video of Cotsco’s new meal kit. “🍜 New Udon Meal Kit at Costco! I made it for lunch today and it was so good!” Lamb wrote in the caption.

In the clip, Lamb unboxes the meal kit, and our mouths instantly started watering just watching it. She pours the pre-cooked chicken and noodles in a pan, as well as the cabbage mixture, sauce, and more. “In total, this took me maybe seven minutes to prepare,” Lamb says in the video. Seven minutes?! That gives you plenty of time for bath night and extra books afterward.

“I hope this one sticks around,” Lamb adds. “The chicken was seasoned really well and the noodles were delicious.” Sounds perfect!

People praised this meal in the comments section. “a long time fave!!!” one person vouched for the meal. “I bought it today and it was really good! 😋,” someone else said. Another wrote, “I loved this!”

Despite this positive reviews, there were some nay-sayers as well. “It’s not good,” one person declared. Someone else said, “Noodles too chewy not so good.”

If you want to try it for yourself, head to your local Costco and pick it up from the refrigerated section. The price may vary by location, but the one Lamb picked up was only $16.72 — much cheaper than a Taco Bell run with your whole family after soccer practice!
