Putting together a large charcuterie board is obviously an easy appetizer to serve guests, especially this summer if you don’t feel like having to cook something over a hot oven or grill. And yet, while a charcuterie board can be easy, it’s not always the simplest to serve when everyone is sitting down. Guests have to reach over each other to slice cheese and pick the meats and fruits they want, making for a not-so-enjoyable eating experience. But never fear, Costco has come to the rescue with the solution you’ve been waiting for: a lazy Susan charcuterie tray.

This lazy Susan charcuterie tray is made of solid acacia wood with a diameter of 18 inches. It rotates 360 degrees, making it easy for guests to twirl and grab the items they want without having to uncomfortably reach over one another. While the tray is currently not listed on Costco’s website, you can grab it in the warehouse for $19.99.

However, the same item is being sold on Walmart’s website at a higher price of $44.65. It might be worth paying a little more to save yourself a trip to the store. Or it’s perfect for people who don’t live near Costco.

Although this lazy Susan could work well for all kinds of decor needs — centerpiece for your kitchen table, pantry organizer, maybe even to organize your toiletries in the bathroom — there’s a specific reason you’re going to want this lazy Susan for your charcuterie: the chalkboard edges. Using the soapstone pencil provided with the tray, you can write a description of the different cheese, meats, and other snacks that you have on the tray. That way your guests know exactly what they’re slicing into, so you don’t have to keep explaining to them which cheeses you have over, and over, and over again.

Thanks to this chalkboard feature, there are a variety of other ways you can utilize this Lazy Susan when serving food. Have a variety of desserts to share? Attempting to make homemade sushi rolls or kimbap for the first time and needing to communicate what’s in them to your guests? This lazy Susan works well for it all!
