Coshocton Public Health starts Coffee with a Doc series

COSHOCTON − Coshocton Public Health District will present Coffee with A Doc from 5 to 6 p.m. May 21 at the Coshocton County Community Room, 637 Chestnut St. Guest speaker will be Dr. Robert Gwinn.

The new program will feature a different guest speaker each month. Invited for future events are physicians from Coshocton Regional Medical Center, Genesis Healthcare of Coshocton, private practices and retired physicians who still reside in the county. A different health topic will be presented each month, providing an environment for open discussion and welcomed questions.

“We saw a need to provide on-going health education to the adult and senior populations of Coshocton County,” said Health Educator Olivia Elson. “I am very excited to be the one organizing this event. I hope it encourages people to prioritize their health and to take advantage of this resourceful opportunity for free and reliable health education.”
