Corgi’s Precious Way of ‘Bullying’ Her Dad for Pets Is Impossible to Resist

Talk about a spoiled dog! Maxine (AKA Max) is an internet famous Corgi who is feisty, funny, and yep, spoiled. Her dad shared a video at the end of January 2024 of her "bullying" him in the cutest way possible, and if you're a pet owner, it'll be totally relatable!

The video starts with Max lying on her bed, looking sad and whining. Her dad is nearby, and she clearly wants something from him. Dad says, "I'm going to expose you for bullying me" and then gives her a loving pet. She stops whining, but when he stops petting her, the whining starts back up! The next thing dad says cracked me up!

"Don't any of you feel bad for her. She does this ALL DAY." @Max's dad exposed her and her bullying! If that's not the cutest bullying I've ever seen, I don't know what is and if I was going to be bullied by a cute Corgi, this is exactly how I hope it would go! Many commenters who have Corgis confirmed that yes, this is a daily occurrence at their houses too. But my favorite comment came from @Drake who pointed out, 'She just reminding you she’s the bread winner and to know your role human!"

Do Corgis Make Good Pets?

Corgis are super cute, and while not all of them are as famous as Maxine and get to meet celebrities and have a famous dog groomer, they do make great pets. They're very intelligent, social, loyal, and fun. They're good with kids and other pets, but they can also be bossy since they are herding dogs.

The one thing to know about Corgis is they are vocal! They love to bark, but there are ways to train them so that they don't bark excessively. It's one of the biggest ways they communicate, and they like to be heard. Of course, not all of them bark all the time - it depends on each dog's individual personality. You just never know what you're going to get.

Another thing to know, because they are herders, they are known to nip at people. Again there are ways to train them to stop doing it. And this training can be fun! Check out these 5 games you can play to get them to stop nipping. They'll have fun, get treats, and learn a corrective behavior!

Corgis are busy, busy, busy and love to exercise and play. Make sure you have plenty of toys to keep them occupied when you're not around, and if a dog that requires a lot of physical movement and play, a Corgi might not be the right breed for you. There are pros and cons that come with all dog breeds, so make sure to do your own research before deciding what kind of dog is right for your family.
