Copycat Chili’s Salsa Is What Your Tex-Mex Nights Have Been Missing

If you have ever eaten at a Chili's Bar and Grill, you know they have some of the best Tex-Mex food around. It's one of my teenage son's favorite places to go when the two of us have a fun day out. He can't get enough of their Cajun Chicken Pasta, and of course, we always start our meal with their famous chips and salsa. So, you can imagine the number of mom points I scored when I started making this copycat Chili's Salsa recipe at home!

Our Mexican nights and Taco Tuesdays are forever changed for the better because I can now quickly whip up a batch of this delicious tomato salsa. Unlike my go-to recipe for restaurant salsa that I've been making for years, Chili's recipe incorporates a touch of cumin, adding a slightly smoky flavor.

I serve this with some lime wedges simply because my boys enjoy that extra citrus flavor, not because they do at the restaurant. Just like any other salsa you've made, this only gets better with time. A few hours to chill, or even overnight, and the flavors will keep developing and get tastier as time goes on. It is also a recipe that is both easily adaptable for spice level and amount.

If you want to kick up your Mexican night game, you can whip up a batch of Chili's Copycat Salsa in no time, and make dinner time a party in no time!
