Coors Light Is Covering Your Dog Adoption Fees This Month So It's Time To Get A New Furry Friend
If money was no limit, I would have a million pets. But the dollars truly add up—you have to feed them ($), buy them toys ($$), buy a water fountain for your very finicky cat($$$, just me?), and often pay for all the adoption fees ($$$$). Not anymore, though! Coors Light wants to take away at least one barrier to adoption by covering the adoption fees for dogs for the next two weeks.
If you adopt a dog between now and February 21 and you take a picture of your adoption receipt, Coors Light will cover $100 of the adoption fee when you text “COORS4k9” to 28130. This means that you can walk into your local shelter and have one less thing standing in the way between you and snapping up that extremely cute pup.
Like anything, there are a few exceptions to this extremely good news. You have to be of legal drinking age, because duh, this is a beer promotion we're talking about here. This offer also only applies to the first 1,000 qualifying participants. If you live in California, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, or West Virginia, you're sadly SOL.
So consider this your excuse to go out and adopt. The worst thing that can happen is you spend $100 on a new friend. That's just, like, a nice dinner. Get a dollar slice and cuddle your new dog instead! You'll be fine.
