‘Convergence: A League of Legends Story’ Will Launch On Switch Next Month

​​Riot Forge and Double Stallion Games have returned with a release date and more information about Convergence: A League of Legends Story. The single-player 2D game will be available for Nintendo Switch beginning on May 23.

Set in the world of Zaun, the action platformer will see gamers play as Ekko, an inventor equipped with a device that allows him to manipulate time.

Thanks to Ekko’s abilities, players will have unique opportunities to explore the dark undercity of Zaun.

The studios bill the game as focusing on combat and incredible art, something fans got an initial taste of in the video teasers. As for the wait, Riot Forge plans to put out two other League of Legends titles this year besides Convergence, which could explain the lengthy timeline for this particular title.
