'The Continental: From the World of John Wick' Spinoff Receives Official Teaser

As John Wick: Chapter 4 continues to amaze crowds in theaters, Lionsgate is now gearing up to share the continuation of the assassin franchise it has started with Keanu Reeves. Teasing what is coming to Peacock, the streaming platform shared an official teaser for The Continental: From the World of John Wick set to arrive later this year.

Set in New York during the 1970s, the upcoming series will offer a differing subject matter, choosing to chronicle the assassins that reside in the famed Continental Hotel. Although violence is prohibited on the grounds of the hotel, the teasers show the coins and action that we expect from a John Wick spinoff. Set to star Mel Gibson, who is interestingly missing from the teaser, The Continental: From the World of John Wick focuses on the younger versions of Winston (Colin Woodell) and Charon (Ayomide Adegun). Peacock describes that the show will see Winston arrive in New York "to face a past he thought he’d left behind. He’ll chart a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne."

Watch the teaser above and catch The Continental: From the World of John Wick when it premieres on Peacock in September as a three-part miniseries.
