Contestants on Squid Game: The Challenge Threaten Legal Action

Netflix recently launched season one of their Squid Game: The Challenge reality show based on the popular series.
It saw 465 people compete through a series of games inspired by the original show for a life-changing sum of $4.56 million.
The first five episodes hit the streaming service this week, with the remaining five rolling out over the next couple of weeks, but a haunting story has hit the news: contestants of the show are threatening legal action.
Express Solicitors, a personal injury law firm in England, has taken on the case of two clients who are claiming they got hypothermia and nerve damage during filming.
The CEO of Express Solicitors, Daniel Slade, said, "We recognise people may see this as a classic David and Goliath battle with the company and its production partners. Contestants thought they were taking part in something fun and those injured did not expect to suffer as they did. Now they have been left with injuries after spending time being stuck in painful stress positions in cold temperatures."
A statement made by a spokesperson for Squid Game: The Challenge contested the claim, saying, "No lawsuit has been filed by any of the Squid Game contestants. We take the welfare of our contestants extremely seriously."
