Constance Wu Announces Birth and Sex of Baby No. 2: 'Breaking News'

Constance Wu just casually revealed life-changing news, with the actress sharing that she gave birth to her second child with partner Ryan Kattner, and it's a boy!
In a preview clip for Wu's conversation with Danielle Robay for her podcast PRETTYSMART, Wu mentioned how her 2022 book Making A Scene was dedicated to her 2-year-old daughter, before noting, "And this was before my son was born."
"Breaking news," Wu went on. "Nobody knew I had a son."
In the clip, she also talks about when she and Kattner found out they were having a boy: "They were like, 'You're having a boy. I was like, 'Really? Are you sure?'"
Robay went on to ask Wu if she was prepared to be a "boy mom." The Crazy Rich Asians actress replied, "He's just a different person...It's our second kid, so we have less anxiety around it, we've done it before. It's still early, he's still a little nugget."
Wu and Kattner, who is the frontman of the band Man Man, have not publicly shared the names of either their newborn son or their older daughter. The two are overall quite private, and not much is known about the couple's relationship history.
Last fall, Wu spoke with People about life with her daughter. She described her "last perfect day off" as "Just being able to cook and enjoy a meal with my daughter. The other day I took her to get ice cream for the first time, and seeing her enjoy her first ice cream cone was the most perfect thing."
With two kids, Wu's house might be a little bit busier these days, but the actress seems very happy and excited about her new baby boy!
