Uh, in case you missed last night's 2021 VMAs, Conor McGregor and Machine Gun Kelly got into an almost-fight on the red carpet. As in, they had to be physically held back by security—allegedly because Conor asked MGK for a photo and was shut down, prompting him to throw his drink. Which...lol okay.

Anyway, it was a whole THING, and now Conor is out here acting a) like it never happened and b) like he pretty much has no idea whomst Machine Gun Kelly even is.

"Absolutely nothing [happened]. I don't know. He showed up, and I don't know. I don't know the guy," Conor told Entertainment Tonight. "Nothing happened with me, I only fight real fighters, people that actually fight, you know what I mean. I certainly don't fight little vanilla boy rappers. I don't even know the guy. I don't know anything about him, except that he's with Megan Fox."

Of course, there are most definitely photos and a video to dispute Conor's claim that "nothing happened." Specifically, a source tells Page Six that he and MGK “got into a fight at the top of the carpet,” “had to be pulled apart,” and that "everyone was screaming."

“They scuffled then it settled down and Conor went for him again,” the source said, explaining that photographers covering the carpet “weren’t happy” and were “saying they were going to boycott Conor because they were worried MGK and Megan wouldn’t walk.”

Meanwhile, Conor's rep reiterated his stance on the whole saga, musing "Conor only fights fighters." lol!
