Concept Dropped for Expansion on the Wilkeson Bacon and Eggs Bowl

In the tiny town of Wilkeson, WA sits a population of about 500 people, a tiny post office, a saloon, and perhaps one of the coolest concepts for a bowl; a cast iron frying pan with a strip of bacon, and two fried eggs.

Wilkeson resides about an hour outside of Seattle and is surrounded by dense evergreen hills, making for the perfect backdrop during a session in the skillet. This Grindline park was completed in early 2021, and recently Grindline shared the conceptual plans for a soon to come addition, check it out below!

Artist John Hillding worked alongside Grindline to bring this breakfast frying pan concept to life. Over the years John has created some seriously badass art installations but we are a bit partial in saying this skateable art may be the best he has created yet. The only downfall is that the frying pan sits on the far end of the Wilkeson Skatepark, without any way to make a smooth transition into it, as it's isolated in the grass on its own.

However, Grindline is drafting up a plan that will make this frying plan even better, by adding a spatula into the frying pan and a path to connect the two sections together. There isn't a date released yet for when this addition will be taking place but we are getting pretty eggcited over the fact it's being thought about!
