They both have very chill personalities and similar interests. Jacob makes Kaia laugh, and her family adores him.”

In early September, the pair sparked rumors as they were spotted together in New York City's Soho. A source told People that “their fingers were interlocked, and they seemed very comfortable together.” The source continued, “At one point, they weren’t holding hands, and Kaia grabbed his [hand], and they went on their merry way. In late October, the couple was spotted in Los Angeles on a rare PDA-filled outing, seemingly confirming their relationship. Paparazzi photographed the pair as they shared a kiss while running errands out in Los Angeles with Gerber’s dog.
November 2020
On November 1, the couple debuted their relationship on Instagram. Gerber posted a photo of her and Elordi dressed up as Elvis and Priscilla Presley for Halloween. Gerber’s makeup artist, Sam Visser, spoke to Vogue about the couple’s look. “Kaia had sent me the idea, as there was a specific photo of Priscilla and Elvis that they wanted to recreate. I love Kaia. She’s always open to trying new things and isn’t afraid to go outside of her comfort zone.”
Later in the month, a source told People that the new couple is happy together. The source told the outlet that “Jacob is very sweet to Kaia. They are always very loving and cute together.” The source continued, “It’s obvious that Cindy [Crawford] and Rande [Gerber] approve of Jacob too. They spend a lot of time together.”

April 2021
The following month, paparazzi photographed the pair out in Los Angeles in a rare affectionate appearance. The couple of more than six months were photographed cuddling as they went on a coffee run. The couple was wearing similar outfits: black trousers, sleeveless shirts, sunglasses, and masks.
On April 14, the couple was seen at the Nobu with friends in Los Angeles, per Daily Mail. The model wore an oversized striped blazer with black boots. Her beau wore a patterned jacket with a white tank top underneath. The paparazzi caught the couple leaving the restaurant, with Elordi in the driver’s seat.
A source told Us Weekly that “Kaia’s parents adore Jacob and think he’s a great match for Kaia.” The source added, “her friends have also taken a liking to him and think he’s such a heartthrob.”
A day later, Us Weekly reported that the couple is taking things slow in their relationship. In a cover interview with Vogue, Gerber opened up about her relationship with Elordi. “Being able to be with someone I trust, where we don’t want anything from each other, having a safe, steady relationship like that, has really opened my eyes to the possibilities of love and what it feels like to love without conditions,” said Gerber. “Lust is touching other people or wanting them, but love is really seeing someone,” she said.
“He’s a great person for me to go to because he’s gone to drama school and has years of experience that I don’t have. So I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m definitely going to be using you as a resource,” the American Horror Story actress said when asked if Elordi gives her acting advice.

On June 27, Gerber posted a birthday tribute to Elordi on her Instagram, featuring a photo of the actor shirtless.
“happy birthday my love,” she wrote. Elordi turned 24 years old this year. Gerber will celebrate her 20th birthday in September.
