The National Dog Show is presented every year by The Kennel Club of Philadelphia and licensed by the American Kennel Club. The dog show will be hosted again this year by John O'Hurley and David Frei with Mary Carillo providing commentary. If you're already planning to tune in for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, then you're in luck because The National Dog Show 2023 premieres direct after the parade wraps up. This year, Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 23 (the fourth Thursday in November like always). Viewers can watch the two-hour show beginning at 12 p.m in all time zones. If you miss the show on Thanksgiving Day you can catch it again on Saturday, November 25 at 8/7c.

At noon, you'll want to tune into NBC to catch the action. If you're on the go or don't get NBC, don't fret! When does the National Dog Show take place?
The National Dog show is pre-recorded before Thanksgiving so that contestants, judges, and attendees don't have to miss out on grandma's famous pumpkin pie on the day of Thanksgiving.
