Struggling to keep your plants alive? Don’t give up on your dream of being a long-term plant parent. Plant subscription service Horti is offering “plant insurance” to grow your plant care experience and confidence—whether you need preventative tips or a plant replacement.

Led by Horti’s plant doctor and scientist Chris Satch, the two plant insurance plans—dubbed the Plant Reassurance Plan and the Plant Ressurection Plan—give plant owners access to experts who can help get to the bottom of any houseplant problem. Each plan is only meant to be temporary, with a recommended subscription length of three to six months.

With the Plant Reassurance Plan for $4.99 per month, plant parents are given preventative care tips and personalized advice about any plant—no matter where it was purchased from. Experts will look at a photo of the plant in question to determine what’s wrong with it and tell you how to revive it.

If you want a bit more security, the Plant Resurrection Plan for $9.99 per month will get you customized care tips and the option of a plant replacement if you fail to keep your plant alive. The catch? It only covers plants purchased from Horti, but it includes the most recent plant you purchased as well as all future plants you get under your Horti subscription.

Whether you've recently decided to become a plant owner or you've been trying (and failing) to keep plants alive for years, Horti's plant insurance might give you some peace of mind—and hopefully, turn you into the expert plant parent you know you can be.
