The Comfy Sneakers Joanna Gaines Can’t Stop Posting About on Instagram (And Where to Buy Them)

She even hinted at it back in November.

The Fixer Upper star wore these comfy sneakers for every day of her 21-day fitness challenge.

Between shooting episodes Fixer Upper and it’s highly-anticipated spinoff, juggling 4 (soon to be 5) kids, and running a recently-opened restaurant, Joanna Gaines needs to make sure the shoes she’s wearing on her feet are supportive and dependable.

At the beginning of 2018, Joanna made an effort to workout every day for 21 days to help form a new healthy habit, and she kept herself accountable by posting on social media about the experience over the next three weeks. Throughout the process she did many workouts, from simple sit-ups to running on the treadmill, but one thing stayed consistent throughout—she wore the same black Nike sneakers to every workout.

Day 21: Well I'll tell you this- if you ever want accountability for working out this was a great way to do it! Thank you so much for your encouragements and kind words as I challenged myself to working out for #21days to try and kick start a healthy habit for a lifetime. When I was in my twenties, working out was something I did as a part of my daily routine. As I think back to my intentions on working out then- they were based solely on the idea of looking good on the exterior- in fact it was probably more of an obsession than a habit at the time. It wasn't healthy. Fast forward and I got married, started a business and had my first child- my priorities shifted and working out became less and less of a thought in my mind. Anytime I would think of it I had a negative feeling about it because of my unhealthy approach to it years before. So from age 27 to now 37 I did not work out bc of the pressure I felt that was associated with it. Only until recently has my mindset completely changed- I got a fresh idea of what health really means and it starts from the inside out. My heart, mind and body need to be strong for the tasks set before me. What I do now will have an effect later. I have had to take baby steps on getting back on track and simply doing a workout for only 20 minutes a day unlike my 1 1/2 hour workouts from the past. This new healthy mindset takes the pressure off and makes working out enjoyable and more practical for this season. Even though I missed a couple of workouts, after 21 days I really do feel stronger and less stressed. I wake up feeling better than the day before. If you are on the same journey keep on moving. Put your shoes on and walk, run, lift weights, or dance like a crazy person... Do something and have fun with it! Tag me in your pics and we can all help each other along the way!! #bestrong #nomorefeetposts #somewillbesad #othersglad #????

Many of her fans commented on social media asking her to reveal what kind of shoes they were, and we were equally interested to know what pair got the Joanna seal of approval. According to People, the sneakers are most likely the Nike Free TR 7 Selfie Training Shoe in black ($100, nordstrom.com).

This is not the first time we’ve taken a practical fashion tip from Joanna. Earlier this year we learned that she is also a huge fan of the ultra-comfortable and supportive Hari Mari flip-flops ($75, zappos.com). While $75 might seem steep for sandals, these high-quality shoes will last you for years, and a portion of each purchase is donated to kids battling cancer.
