It’s definitely making into my Italy vacation wardrobe.

There’s a new girl (err, shoe) in town that’s going to make you forget about all your other pairs. Okay, that might be a bit extreme, because honestly, there’s room for everyone, but I know I’m not alone when I say that when I acquire something new that I’m so obsessed with, I tend to focus all my attention on said thing. I don’t forget my others, but I certainly wear them less. The same can soon be said about my trusty white kicks, because I set my sights on a new Cariuma pair that I already know I’ll be living in all summer long.

Just a few weeks ago, Cariuma introduced an entirely new sneaker style into its family, the Uba Pro, a court-inspired kick that’s equal parts comfy and cool. Given the buzz the Brazilian brand has, it’s not a huge shock the shoe sold out pretty quickly. Not to mention, new celebs, like Brooke Shields, were recently spotted wearing the label’s kicks, giving it even more appeal. Because when something’s good enough for an in-the-know celeb, it’s good enough for you.

That said, the initial Uba Pro drop features three styles crafted from a premium suede; this new Uba expansion features three fresh Leather Working Group-certified leather sneakers that you’ll fall head over heels (nay, sneakers) for. All of them are so good, I can’t decide which colorway I want, so I might as well get all three. Again, sorry to all my other sneakers in advance.

All the features of the first Uba Pro can be found in this new Uba iteration. You still have that slip-resistant rubber sole that draws inspiration from retro basketball shoes (aka, it has that court-side appeal people are obsessed with these days), plus a midsole made from bouncy sugarcane, a cushy, removable cork insole, and breathable mesh lining that gives the shoe some serious summer prowess.

The simple-but-on-trend court-esque kick is certainly making it on my summer must-wear list, because I’m a big fan of mixing cool sneakers like the Ubas with feminine-leaning staples, like a sexy slip skirt (by the way, I found the best one on the internet). Nothing beats comfort and style, and of course Cariuma has done it again with its all-leather Uba iteration that’ll cost you $159. My final word: They’re so versatile, I’ll definitely be packing these on my summer vacation to Italy, because I can basically wear them with everything, even my wedding dress (wink, wink).

Shop your pair before I buy them all—and no, I’m not kidding.
