These Are the Comfiest Sweatpants of All Time and I’ll Be Living in Them Until Spring

You’ll never want to put on jeans again.

Cult-favorite bedding brand Brooklinen proves again and again that it’s a go-to destination for so much more than just sheets and comforters. Along with its wide variety of bed and bath essentials, Brooklinen also offers home accessories (it recently launched its own decor marketplace) and even loungewear, which it unveiled this past summer.

While it was still far too hot in July to even consider putting on a pair of sweatpants, I snagged the Brooklinen Boerum Jogger pants when they were first released, assuming that if the loungewear was anything like the brand’s bedding, I’d be in for a treat come fall. As soon as my apartment began to feel chilly at night, I pulled the sweats out of the back of my closet—and I’ve practically been living in them ever since.

Made of cotton, modal (a fiber made from beech trees), and just a bit of spandex, the sweatpants are ultra soft, lightweight, and breathable. They fit like a typical jogger, with a fitted cuff at the bottom of each leg and an elastic drawstring on the mid-rise waist. Plus, they come with pockets—two in the front and one small one in the back—which can be surprisingly tough to find in a good pair of lounge pants.

Loose around the hips and narrower towards the ankles, the pants feel fitted yet roomy. When paired with an oversized sweater and thick ankle socks, you’ll feel like the star of your own rom-com lounging around your house in effortlessly cozy attire (see: Sleepless in Seattle or The Holiday for inspiration).

Aside from being the perfect uniform for lazy weekends on the couch, I’ve also found that the sweats are light enough to comfortably sleep in on extra chilly nights. They keep me warm without causing me to overheat, like most other heavy sweatpants tend to do.

Perhaps the best part of these dreamy joggers? Thanks to the durable, high-quality materials they’re made with, you can machine wash them without a second thought; it’s even safe to toss them in the dryer on a low setting. Trust me, I’ve already managed to spill on mine more than once, but they still look (and feel!) as good as new after each wash.

Although these are undoubtedly the perfect pair of house pants, they’re also sleek enough to wear outside for a quick errand or trip to the mailbox without feeling entirely unkempt (which is really the true test of a great pair of sweatpants, right?).

I’m not the only one obsessed with the cozy, soft joggers—they’ve racked up many positive reviews on Brooklinen’s website. “These joggers are so soft and easy to throw on after a long day at work. I wear them nearly every day of the week,” one shopper wrote. “In true Brooklinen fashion, the material is soft and durable.” Another said, “I love these joggers so much, I bought a second pair.”

Now that fall is in full force and winter is right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to invest in a new pair of go-to sweatpants to wear while dawdling around the house on a gloomy day. If soft, silky-smooth, and stylish sweats are what you’re after, the Boerum Jogger is for you.
