ICYMI: Lizzo, everyone’s favorite #relatable celebrity (and high-key TikTok star), is happily in love with her boyfriend, Myke Wright.
The pair met in 2016 when they worked together as co-hosts for MTV’s Wonderland. They stayed close friends over the years, until that friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship earlier last year. In March 2021, the “About Damn Time” singer-songwriter sparked dating rumors with the comedian-musician-designer (he does it all, folks) when they were photographed packing on the PDA on the balcony of a Malibu mansion, per The Sun. A year later, the Emmy Award-winning artist posted a reel where she’s seen kissing a man off frame, basically soft launching her relationship with Myke. “Happyyyyyyyyyyyy,” she captioned the post.
But it wasn’t until April 2022 that the “Good as Hell” singer confirmed she was seeing “someone special” to Andy Cohen during an interview on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy. She went on to add that her anonymous (at the time) partner wasn’t bothered by her fame, saying, “If you have the right person, no, not at all. [Fame is] not even a factor.” Then in June 2022, the couple finally made their red carpet debut at the “For Your Consideration” event for the “Truth Hurts” singer’s reality competition series Watch Out for the Big Grrrls. If these two couldn’t get any cuter, earlier this month, the “Juice” singer dropped the L-bomb when talking about BF Myke during an appearance on Audacy Check In. “Well, I am in love,” Lizzo told the radio host Kenzie K. During the interview, the Grammy Award-winning artist also shared that Myke has a nickname for her, Melly (the singer’s real name is Melissa Jefferson). She immortalizes the nickname in her song “2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)” from her most recent album Special. “He call me Melly (ayy), he squeeze my belly (yeah) / I’m too embarrassed (ah) to say I like it,” she sings.
If the “Cuz I Love You” singer’s wholesome comments aren’t enough proof that this pair are meant to be, then what the stars have to say is definitely the icing on the cake. “It’s easy to see why the sparks fly in this relationship when you look at their compatibility,” says intuitive astrologer Rachel Lang. “It’s a sweet connection.” According to Lang, these two have an undeniable emotional bond, strong sexual chemistry, and unwavering support for each other (basically, they’re a match made in heaven).

Mars is the reason why their connection is so strong.
“Mars is the planet that relates to our chemistry and physical connection,” explains Lang. Myke’s Mars in Cancer is in a favorable sextile aspect with Lizzo’s Sun, Jupiter (the planet of expansion and good fortune), and Mercury (the planet of communication), showing that they energize one another. “They lift each other up in business and life,” Lang adds. In other words, these two are the ultimate partners in crime.

Pluto moves veryyy slowly (ahem, she likes to take her time), so while the transit started in March 2021, it will last until 2024, Lang notes. “We will see some intense times for these two, which may involve them making a deeper commitment.”
Lang says you’ll especially want to pay attention to this pair from December 10, 2022 to January 23, 2023 as that will be a turning point for their ‘ship. These two might be taking their relationship to the next level or will shift gears. “An eclipse occurring on November 8 is close to Lizzo’s Jupiter, so it’s possible there could be a sudden twist of fate for her career, and that could have an influence on their relationship,” adds Lang.
Hopefully that “sudden twist of fate” is the star finally reaching EGOT status as she’s already on her way. Either way, exciting times are ahead for these two.
