Fresh Kicks, Money Moves, Rosé Season: These are just a few of the clever color names from paint startup Clare, which launched last year with the mission of shaking up the paint industry (pun always intended). Now, Clare is giving its customers the chance to choose its next color-and then, to give it the perfect name.

Beginning today, the brand is encouraging customers to vote on its website for their favorite of six new colors (shown above), one of which will join Clare's official mix."It’s important to us as a company to always deliver what our customers want," founder Nicole Gibbons says. And what better way to do that than letting customers choose?

The democratic move is an especially big deal for Clare, which launched with the mission of providing only what it deems are the best colors; there are no bulky fan decks for Clare, just a batch of 55 hues.

"Our approach to color is highly curated, offering fewer, better options," Gibbons explains. "So when we decided that it was time to introduce our first new color, we knew that there was no better way to do that than to involve our customers and fans and include them in the process - ensuring that we remain true to our mission of offering the best colors that our customer will love."

Voting will be open for several weeks-fans can check Clare's Instagram for live updates-after which the company will offer a second poll to chose a name for the favorite hue. Better start planning your color puns now!
