Colorado's Lone Open Ski Resort Just Got Hit With Multiple Inches Of Summer Snow

Sound the alarms Denverites! Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, located near Dillon, CO, just picked up multiple inches of summer snow.

Check out the video below of big, fat, and fluffy flakes following at the base of Arapahoe Basin earlier this morning:

A-Basin is the only ski area still open in Colorado. They will end the season on Sunday, June 4th.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the forecast is calling for the summer snow to turn into summer rain later this weekend.

But, who cares? This is skiing in June after all.

In fact, feel free to publicly shame any of your friends who are against heading up to Arapahoe Basin this weekend because of the rain.

Tell them that Matt Lorelli from Powder Magazine doesn't think they're a "real skier" (whatever that means) if they think skiing in the rain isn't fun.

That should hopefully do the trick.

Have fun out there, friends!
